Easy there buddy. You can change the look back by going to Profile/Look and Feel. Select the Babylon theme and it will be back to how it was before.

It was punishment for not being appreciated for the hours time and likely money they put into this site! To think they do all that just so people they can earn the right to listen to people complain when an upgrade is done to keep the site current and attempt to make our forum better....Geeze can't believe they would be so selfish!!!  ;)

You try running a website forum for a while, and we'll complain when you change things.
Scheesh!
As said, these guys that host this forum need a little (LOTS) of compliments for a job well done, and is very appreciated.  Anys support that we can give them is due.

Man, way MORE than just support and compliments.  Think how positively they've impacted our lives by running this sight (see Donation thread, too).  It must've been about 8 years that I never mentioned to my wife that I didn't quite like the way she made her 'favorite' meatloaf.  With all the work she did, and an overall great meal, why would I bother?  Same thing here...

I personally don't plan to switch to the old appearance. Doing so without giving this the time to be known is like despising all the new with the all-time argument that "everything was better before". Just try this one and once you know it decide wich one would you get if both would have appeared at the same time.

Furthermore, it is good to get a make-up every now and then. Like Burger King or McDonalds, that they offer special sandwiches for a limited time because they know people get tired of the same thing every day.

Who would trust a site in which you can read "last updated May 2002"? Internet sites need to be updated and changed in order to keep interest. The only exception could be the forums because what counts is the contributions, not the appearance.

Just my 2 cents

I'll go one further, I like it.  I can understand why some might be afraid of change.  It's human nature.  What I don't understand is why McDonalds didn't stick with McPizza!  It was good!

Chris,

Click on "Home" and then scroll to the bottom of the screen.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

It's also at the top of each thread or forum.  It's now on the left.
