Probably not because of coil placement, the 550 tank is narrower up near the neck and the 350 f tank is wider because the coils are up near the top tube, i was going to use a 350 tank on my 550 and noticed the differance

I put a CB350F tank on a CB500. Had to move the front mount points down and fab a rear mount to make it look right though.

So I would say, no it wouldn't really work to put a 550 on a CB350F.

I like that 350 tank on your 500. I've got a beat up 350 tank in the shop, I'm thinking about trying about a 4"stretch and mounting it on my 550 next winter.

Hahnda is correct, you would have to relocate the coils, not something real hard to do but remember your wire length, it is going to be different when relocated. I had both and wanted my 350 tank on the 500 because it is very cafe styled,
but ran into the coil issue, i've since donated my running 350 four to a good buddy who got bit by the cafe bug, now he's finishing what i started, plus he's real happy and so is the wife to get rid of "ANOTHER" bike that was "taking up" room in the garage! Good luck Marco
