Carb Sizes ?
« on: July 03, 2007, 08:13:16 pm »
This is my first post, but I've been lurking for awhile. I have two 750 parts bikes i bought for $75 , they're pretty much all there, just no titles... pretty good deal i thought. One is a 72 750K, the other is a 74' 750F supersport.  My Running bikes are a 77' 750k and an 81' 750F dohc. Is there any list of the size/ specs of the carbs through out the years? pictures might even be helpfull, The carbs off of the 74'supersport appear to be a smaller venturi than the ones off of my K's?  Anyhow, I'm Looking to get rid of the CV style carbs on my Dohc, and wanting to mount up one of the extra set's i have. Thanks for any info, and dealing with my N00b Status.

Well, I happen to have a set of CV carbs off a '79DOHC750, and a set from a '72?73? cb750, and the spacing is not the same.
Tht two motors have different spacing on the cyl. block for the intake ports as well.

Not sure if you sould make them fit with some creative use of intake boots.
