New member here in Michigan
« on: June 29, 2007, 03:22:28 AM »
New to this site but not bikes. This never ending struggle to rid myself of M.B.S. has only created more scabs, the only prescription I've found that helps is another bike. As for Honda's, I own an St1100 for touring, an FT500 Ascot, a VF1000R and 3 CB750's, which is the reason I am here, 2 of which are pictured, Rickman CR750 and a Read-Titan 750, and the last one a stock CB750 K2. I own a variety of others, mostly British, German and Italian bikes. Might as well mention the RZ350 and 1971 Suzuki T350, original owner, by the way. I've learned a few things about CB750's along the way and am sure I can provide some input, but collectively were better as a group. Thanks for letting me in.

you are obviously an over qualiified collector....we are just (or speaking for myself) a bunch of miscreants looking for new challenges that keep us young (in mind & spirit)....helps if you can write as well as post pictures and also the liberal amount of BS is required when answering posts.........no need for spelling here.......welcome from OZ....watch out for toycollector (kiwi who loves sheep jokes).....and dusterdude (notoriously responds to everything) and TwoTired (don't piss him off)........also Seaweb, (he likes to buy tires from everyone), and last but not least Firecracker - "danger Will Robinson" - he will know you inside out in 10 seconds flat..........

really guys I had to write something....my football team is losing thats why I'm here on Friday night......no nasty replies, just out fishing

Aussies don't mind the sheep jokes except they really belong to kiwis.....we only borrow them when necessary...

 ;D ;D

Are those original Rickman/Reed Titan bikes or did you piece them together?
Either way they're awesome, and you definitely need to post some pics of them.
Welcome aboard! :)

Apreciate the shot across the bow concerning who to watch out for. I live in the Ann Arbor area of Michigan. The Rickman I purchased, crashed, form the original owner builder. The Aussies were the only ones able to source the fairing. Alll glasswork was repaired, except the fairing, which was beyond repairThat was a one year labor of love pieceing it back together. The public response has been worth every second.
The Read Titan I bought in boxes. Wasn't sure what it was going to look like when completed. Was kinda going for the "Manx" look.

Grew up in a Suzuki/Kawasaki shop as a beginner. Have come to appreciate the SOHC Hondas.

Once I get up to speed on posting photos I'll show you guys what else I got.
