What is this points part? Where does it go on the Dyna S ignitiion

PO put in a Dyna S.  I took it out to clean it and tried to put it back together (2 weeks later after taking everything apart.)
This part was in my "special" parts envelope that I labeled "points cover".

Everything fits but this thing is an "extra part".  Does anyone recognize it.  It's very thin and magnatized I think.  Coincidently it's the same radius as the Clutch bearing. 

I've looked at the Dyna install guide. And it's not part of it I don't think.
I looked at the OEM parts and I don't see it either.

If it's not part of the Dyna-s, and it didn't come off your bike, then where did it come from?  Doesn't look familiar to me.

Looks like the washer that fits over your starter motor gear, under the alternator cover.

i just recently installed a dyna s and that piece definately was not part of it

Exactly what that is! At least thats what I though when I first looked at it.

Ok, you guys are right!  It's the washer for the reduction gear by the stator.  I had to remove the left side "HONDA" like 10 bolts to get to it.
