New guy here, I picked up a 550F last week off of craigslist.9K miles
It had been in storage for 7 years. Green in color with a 4 into 1
exhaust. I cleaned out the carb bowls and jets, a new set of plugs
and it is running pretty good now. The Tach just does not
move like I think it should. I rev the engine and it may go to 4K.
But while riding and cruizing in high gear it is up around 10K.
The cable looks Ok on the guage end....
