ok, so now i'm ready to put on my shifter cover. I noticed that I don't have the little rubber washer/plug that is on the bottom part of this cover. It blocks an oil gallery hole or something like that?? There is no hole in the cover for this just solid gasket and metal backing it on the cover. IS THIS little plug NEEDED or will the gasket provide a seal for this that will work ok? Is there any reason for the rubber plug there? I don't want to put this on without a plug knowing that something will mess up on me !!
