Good news!  Its been a few months since you reported it stolen, I believe on March 11.  You;ll have to give us a more detailed report about how it was tracked/found, and also show some pictures of what it looks like and how it progresses.

This bike was on craigslist about two years ago in the Philadelphia area.  I saw it in person one day at breakfast and was interested in it.  However another friend had dibs on it and bought it.  He kept it for about a year and it came up for sale again this past spring.  I had first crack at it this time so I bought it.  The photo above was taken the day I rode it home.  I've cleaned it up and polished the engine cases so it shines a lot more now.  The bike is stock except for a Dyna ignition.  It runs great and I put about a thousand miles on it this summer.

I am located in the Netherlands.
My 350 is registred in 1975. Year of manufacture is likely to be 1974. In the Netherlands the 350 was available in the following colours: candy bachus olive custom, light ruby red and custom silver metallic (probably only in 1974). The colours flake matador red and glory blue black metallic, which are common in North America, were not available over here. Other differences between the European model and the North American model are the rear light/licence plate holder, rear fender, mudguard and horn.

Interesting differences in the colours.  The glory blue black metallic was the only colour available here for 1974 (and the only year it was available).  That model year and colour also had the colours on the side-cover emblems changed to be orange for the "Four" and white for the "350".  The emblems on your silver model appear to be the same as were on the 1972 and 1973 models available here.

I am a pretty new owner to a really FUN 73 CB350F, just like the rest of you all.  It is not a stock color, but a great repaint, and I really love it.  Runs like a Singer Sewing Machine.  Pic below.

I collect old Honda brochures and just got in one from Germany on the CB350F, they were sold there in silver with black stripes and it is killer looking. I always try to add original condition bikes to my collection and will return them if they aren't but I may buy an extra set of body parts and do the silver scheme. The pin striping is available on the German Ebay and silver is an easy one to shoot. I wonder what logic Honda used to decide what bikes and colors are sold in each country?

Are you sure the stripes were black? As fas as I know the custom silver metallic color was only available wit dark-blue striping, which was, by the way, a genuine pin-stripe and not a transfer...

Not sure about the stripes, I was just going by the German sales brochure I just received.

The 550 four exhaust would have to be re-worked drastically to make the down pipes square to the head outlets, hangers would have to be fabricated and most likely the four header pipes would not fit smoothly against the underside of the bike. Frustration would set in way before the alterations would be made. If you have or can obtain the 350F header pipes then there are some nice mufflers available that slip over the ends and the bike looks pretty good after installation, this was the best choice prior to the oem replicas became available. If you are startled by the $1k plus price on the new replicas then consider buying one pipe at a time so the outflow of $$$ doesn't hurt so much.

Thanks for the info on the exhaust twinegar, I really appreciate it. I almost bought an exhaust system for a 550 thats looks great and at a fairly good price. But, your response has me wondering. I do have the header pipes that are cut off just below the trans. Where can I get the mufflers you mentioned? Or buying one at a time, can be accomplished...how?
