you can get the part at most any Honda Dealer, I just ordered one last week for my 73. remove the retaining screw and cable,  pull the old seal out, you can make a puller out of a paper clip and just bend the end enough to put into  the hole in the center of the seal.. When you get the seal out, install the new one by using a socket head small enough to go into the hole and use it to seat the seal.   :)

Just get the seal from the honda shop. It will be about $3. Sure other sites may be cheaper but add in the shipping and see which is actually better. Besides you can inspect the seal at the honda shop before buying it. Always check with honda first to see about prices THEN look online.

I machined an o-ring groove behind the groove for the locating screw on the cable end, so now any leaks from the original seal oil my cable but don't leak onto my engine.
