I finally finished this years winter project, more little detail work and adjustments involved than I realized but I am very happy with how it turned out. I just ran her around the local area tonight and she runs strong with no bad manners or noises/leaks nothing ... very happy. There is just something about working for month's on something and then having a great first ride on it when you get her out on the road!

It's a 1978 K8 model with an entire Gold Wing front end with the aluminum wheel, larger forks and dual front disks and tapered steering head bearings with two way adjustable clip-ons. On the rear I put a 3.50" by 18" aluminum D.I.D. rim with stainless Buchannan spokes on the stock hub. Progressive Suspension shocks and a Pingel petcock with a braided stainless fuel line and my braided oil lines. Rebuilt the instruments with white SuperHawk style faces and the frame was finished in a two part epoxy Hard Nose paint. Got the decal kit from a guy in the UK, very nice quality and easy application .... authentic as well. The bike is not meant to be a representation of a CR750 or a real replica, I call it a "street replica" since it has the general look of the CR but has all the street equipment, charging system, stock instruments and oil tank.
Lastly I used Velocity stacks with screens fitted to the carbs and gutted out the stock pipes with recessed end caps. That's about it for unique stuff ....... here she is
