It's amazing to see how far this forum has come!!!  In less than 5 years we are just shy of 10,000 members.  That's a LOT of SOHC experience!!!  Thanks everyone for making this THE place to come for whatever ails us.
It took 10 years but she's finally done!

From time to time, Glenn has a clear out of members who have registered but are inactive.
Overall registered membership probably runs into many more hundreds.
If you hover the curser over a members user name, it shows his membership number in the address bar at the bottom of the page.
Yours is 5173,  Dons who has just posted is 597 and mine is just a few later at 609.
If you find the latest member, his number might tell you how many people have registered.

Yeah it is pretty awesome to have this many members given there is more than one cb forum.
I think it is the amount of experience available when it first started.

Wow thanks Sam, I guess I joined a bit early on then at 142. How did I ever live without my online sohc4 fix between greenspun and this forum???
I hate to think about it, just look at how many frantic posts appear when the forum is down for maintenance for just an afternoon!  ;D
Cheers.

Yeah, don't know what I'd do without this place AND the folks here as well. My Member number is (strange as it seems) 1969. Can you believe that. THAT number figures in MY life, in a number of ways. ;)

Traded my '66 Charger for a 1969 road runner, meet Brenda (who I married) who had a 1969 road runner also and SHE graduated in 1969 and after she passed away, I got the GTX, which is also a 1969 model. Pretty cool I'd say (except for my Wife passing away, that is). :)

This is the best forum I have ever visited so it stands to reason it is so popular. I came over from the Greenspun days. It is also diverse, we have top notch technical information, current events, humor and a little T&A. It is a community. Sort of a small town.

I made a reflector out of cardboard and foil and have it aimed at the garage so I can use the laptop out there. :)

Damn, look like I just wasted $40 at Best Buy.

For serious.  I would not be riding a bike, much less a SOHC were it not for this site.

And beer.  Ahem.
