I just got the go ahead from Glenn and Heffay for laying out the business cards.

I'm waiting on Heffay for a print resolution version of the club logo.  Unfortunately he's having some computer issues. 

I hope to have something together by the end of August though when I'm going to an event where I'd like to hand them out.

If any one has a high resolution version of the logo please send it along my way.

If this is going to be semi-formal for us, maybe we should have more than 1 submission and then vote on it.  Not saying anyone does lousy work or anything like that but then we all can give some feedback on it.

I say all you graphic dudes make up your card and everyone votes on the best one.Then we just take it frome there. I think it would be cool to have business cards to hand out to folks that might be interested in the club. Lets see what happens.

Hey Eldar,

I'm happy to post a couple different versions of the card before I finalize a template. 

I'll start a new thread with a poll and we can all vote.  Any other "graphics dudes" want to take a stab at a card design?

I made one too sorta. Not bad but it is in word and so not very friendly yet. I suppose we could put out names on it. I never thought about doing that. I figured it would be a more generic style but a name is good too.

I will see if I can port mine into gimp and do it up better.

Thats way cool Uncrash. I also didn't think of having our own handle on the card but it really looks good. Just like the patches & pins.....if someone can make em up.....I would be interested in purchasing a lot (20-100...??)

My gf is a graphic designer and this is her sort of thing... I'm pretty sure she'll toss in a couple of designs.  I am forwarding this thread to her as we speak.
