I just did some possible converting!
« on: July 12, 2007, 08:46:18 AM »
Went to the Old bike barn forum and while it has improved some, I found a number of people there with sohc4s and directed them to come here.

Gotta let people know where the good info is at!

I also have to keep sohc4 business cards or something. In the last couple weeks, I have come across 4 sohc riders but never had a pen or paper to let them know about the site since they were not around to tell verbally!

Um.....No. Why do you ask? ;D

No actually but I try to steer people here if I can. We have the best site to be found for almost all aspects of the sohc4. I just want to share!

Well it all trickles down. We get more people here, we make more friends and riding buddies.  We pass on our info to each other. We all find the places to buy parts and the more parts we buy, the better. Manufacturers will keep making the parts since they see there is a demand. Higher prices may result but I would rather pay a higher price than not find a part at all!

There may be larger forums out there but the only one that might surpass us when it comes to certain models may be a harley forum.

Cards would be easy if you know your way around Word.  The card stock paper is available from Avery, pre-perforated 8 to a page.  There is a template in Word for business cards.  The hardest thing is getting the logo.

Ditto that.  I try to keep a couple of cards in the wallet at all times, time to print out a few more.  ;)

Yaknow, Eldar, I just realized that makes us sound like a religion.  Does that make you High Priest?  In any case, don't expect me to conform!  ::)

Add-on idea.  If someone were to come up with a template based on a certain easily accesible template for cards, provide the Avery (or whatever brand they decide upon) template number so we make sure to buy the right set, and post in the FAQs, all anyone would need to do would be to buy the card stock, put in their printer, open and print.

Just an add-on idea kinda like aftermarket exhausts.  Some people think they add to the over-all design, some people hate em.   ;)

Hey,

I'm happy to do the layout.

I just pm'd Heffay for a high res copy of the logo.

I'll come up with a couple designs this weekend.

Cheers,

Ben

So now we'll all be card-carrying members of the religion?  Soon we'll be bigger than Scientology...
