Can you do larger scans of that article in tiff format?  I'm working on building a complete library of articles on the website.  If I get large, clear scans, I can run them through a program to extract the text which makes it a lot more efficient for online reading and storage.

Notice how the side cover emblem is totally different than the production models.

Those pics were shot at Tokyo Motorcycle Show in November/December 1968.
Its actually in a private collection in Cal;ifornia but its missing alot of parts; absolutely NOTHING is shared w/ production CB750.

Hey, Glenn, do you want other articles? I've two with comparisons of 750's: one from 1970 and one from 1977. I'd be happy to scan and post/email.

Take a look here...

http://sohc4.glennstauffer.com/index.php?title=CB750#Articles

Everything that shows in blue is online now.  Everything in red is stuff I need.  There might be some pictures missing from some of the online articles too.  I have scans of many of them and will add the images soon.

So, if you have articles that aren't on this list or are on the list in red. if you scan them at 300dpi or greater and send them to me email (admin@sohc4.net), that would be great.

Just a heads up Glenn--a few of your blue links are pointing to //localhost instead of to sohc.glennstauffer.com.

Thanks for the heads up.  I originally worked up the site locally on my laptop and moved it online just before I left for vacation so I'd have a backup.  I'm working on fixing the broken article links and will have that done shortly.

That's a great post, thanks!

Ya know, I'd forgotten that I once paid only 50 cents for high quality mags.   ;D

Glenn, I have two articles:

Cycle, March 1970: "The Big Seven: Superbike Comparison Test!"
Motorcyclist, August 1977: "Hitting the Highway 1: Tour Testing (Honda CB750K, Kawasaki KZ650, Suzuki GS750, Yamaha XS750)"

I'd be happy to scan them, and I'm guessing it would be O.K. if I just ran them through the OCR and sent you PDF's? The second article is over 15 pages, and the file sizes are on the large size for 300dpi tiff's (7.5Mb greyscale, 24Mb color per page).
