Marshall Exhaust

This is probably a long shot but... does anyone know if a Marshall exhaust for a '79 cb750 would fit on a '77 cb550 ? 

here is a pic of it on the 750

  I do not think so, the 750DOHC is wider than a SOHC so unless each tube is moveable it would not work.Dannie
