spark plug size
« on: July 05, 2005, 07:10:14 AM »
hi,
I'm looking at new plug caps and want to make sure I'm buying the right size ('72 cb500K1)

they're 14 mm plugs right? this would correspond to the letter "b" in the part number for the ngk plug caps:
vbo5f: V=120 degree bend, B=14mm plug, 05=resistance F=terminal stud.

Ngk also offers "d" for 10-12mm plugs.

they're 12mm...

I'm running NGK D7EA plugs right now, any suggestions for alternative plugs?

arent the "b's"  in sb05f and xb05f for 14mm plugs? My d7ea plugs are 12mm (the "D" is for a 12mm plug)
