Today was "Ride your motorcycle to work day", wasn't it?
« on: July 18, 2007, 08:50:17 AM »
My wife and I rode our Sportster from Perris CA to Irvine (wife's work) and then I onto Cypress.  We saw no more bikes than usual and a lot more cars!  Maybe the caged were staging a protest?

UNfortunaltely it rained like hell here this morning so the turn out was pretty low. I did manage to get in during a break in the down pour.

Hey Gordon I want to thank you for recommending those Euro bars to me - they are working out really nice on the K4! Very comfy even on longer (300+ mile rides). Ill post some pics once I get my "new" stock HM300 exhaust on the bike.

many thanks
Andy

Severe Thunderstorms reported for the Chi-town area, plus my way into work is all under construction so I stuck to four wheels. Mud and rain are a bad combo.

It's raining here in Portland.  >:( When you combine the rain with all of the steel plating around Portland State, it makes riding a little tricky.  :o

Than again, I ride year round. Even in the snow! (unintentionally)

Ahhh....

It's going to be a wonderful ride to work for me...
Sky is clear, about 80+ outside...
I'm gonna have to take the long way to work.

If I could have figured out a way to carry half a pick-up load of tools and my dog on the bike I would have ridden.  ;D

Been riding my 250 into work every day for the last few months now, rain or shine and I thought everyday was ride your bike to work day  ;D Amazing how much gas I have been saving, fill it up about once a month :) work is only about 16 mile's round trip, plus it is  a great change from being in the cage all day.
