Which mirrors did you get? Which bars do you have?

You should be able to just cut a hole at the end of your grips. I use clubmans, so I had to pry out the rubber stopper at the ends. But it should fit just fine.

so if i cut a hole in the grips and pop the handlebar endcap off they should fit in there...it just looked like a weird mounting system and a icouldnt figure out how they stay in place.

The pic you have of the mirrors is kind of small, but there should be a screw on the end that you can tighten up.

If all the pieces are there, the part that is inserted should expand when the screw(allen screw?) is tightened.

those have the good type of mounting system. the cheap emgo bar end mirrors never want to stay in place. i used to lose one every few weeks, could never get em tight enough.

Your mirrors appear to have a mounting system similar to a bicycle stem.  If so, you should be able to poke the mirror into the end of your bars, tighten the nut that will then be right next to your grips on the mirror stem until you feel some resistance, and (if these mirrors are intended for bars with the same inside diameter as your bars) you should be ready to roll.

yours -look- like the through screw is smaller than the mirror bar, so it's possible that the mirror assembly unscrews from the plug, which should expose an allen screw.
place plug in the bar, then install the mirro into the plug and use the nut to adjust position.

I prefer the bicycle stem type mount, more reliable than the expansion cone type which tends to wear after a while.

I have one on the left and it holds okay, but I bought one to put on the right.  Problem is when it's tight enough to stay on, it expands enough such that it causes throttle sleeve to bind.  No good so needless to say I took it off.
