I'm looking at these comstars to replace my bent front and that rear just makes a matched pair (another $20 plus shipping). My question is what are the differences in comstars? the part number is different than mine. Is the basic rim and spoke the same with different hubs? Can I swap out my hubs into these wheels? Can I at least make the front work? They are the same size rims. I called around to several wreckers in my area, $150 each for an exact replacement. Am I better to go this way? With shipping those wheels are still half the price as the ones from the wreckers. '80 cx500 (single disc front, shaft drive rear with drum) onto an '81 cb650 (dual disc front, chain drive rear with drum)

i'm also looking at a front off an '80 750f

Dude i've been doing a little research on this for myself as i just dont care for spoke wheels  and here what i've come up with but it sounds as though you've got the same wheel set up as i do  so here goes if you have a 19" front wheel with a single disc brake  you may be able to use the comstar offered on the 77-78 750a,cb400 a&F, and the 450 nighthawk as far as your rear wheel goes if its 18" check out the comstars on the 80  cb400 as far as the hub changes go i haven't gotten that far into the research yet
