Anybody seen/heard of this movie starring Anthony Hopkins?  Just rented it, going to watch it later.  Looks pretty good.

Inspiring, great movie, vintage iron goes fast against all odds. Nice to see Anthony Hopkins not eating people.

It was great.  The wife and I watched it on our last flight from Israel.  I'd gladly see it again.

Wonderful movie. From what I recall reading here, the movie sticks pretty closely with the facts.

I dunno about the hotel clerk though...

that one seems a bit far fetched.
But the fact he still holds(?) the fastest recorded speed for a bike under 1000cc's is amazing.

I work 10-12 hour days, so TV and movies rarely make it onto my "to do" list.  Besides, if I have a couple hours of free time, I am usually wrenching, riding, or shooting.

Thanks for that trailer!  I own this flick and love it... and it sort of tickles me when he mentions Springfield. I grew up not too far away from there and enjoy informing anyone who will listen THAT'S where America's first production bike came from. The documentary about Burt is great too- a must see.

Man, now I'm revved up!

I loved the movie when I viewed it a few years ago.I like how Mr. Munro did All his own work for So many years in his garage,he even forged his own pistons  8) & kept at it until he got it just right ! w/ the long term goal in mind to "go to Bonneville"  ;D
He finally made it there ! and then they told him he couldn't run !  >:(  I didn't like that part of the movie..,but it did work well for him in the end  ;D ;D :)
75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'
I love the small ones too !
