I've just bought a 750 K2 after owning mostly Suzuki's.My first bike was a 1968 305 Superhawk and really wish I had kept it as I hear they are pretty rare.
Anyway,back to my K2,it was partially in pieces as the previous owner was going to restore but gave up when he couldn't get the motor out...I was kind enough to NOT point out the obvious...he hadn't pulled the oil filter housing off...
I've already learned a few things and as I'm restoring her from the frame up I'm very very happy to have found this site.
I'm another Canadian,live in Shelburne north of Orangeville.
1977 Suzuki GT750
1972 Honda CB750 K2
1978 Honda CB550K
