Another 11 hour day :P

Motor and controls all done.  Running lights and interior lights all functioning.

Tomorrow is CD player install and front seats install.  It is so tight working inside this little boat that I want all the wiring done before I install the the seats.  Rear bench should be ready from the uplosterers on Fri.  Well here it is today.

SWEET! ;D ;D ;D

That big ol' Fat Four sure does make the boat look smaller ;)

Looking good.

Happy trails!

Thanks for the nice comments guys.   When you sit in this thing at idle it's like sitting in a dragster, you can feel the motor in your ass and the deep rumble of power. Hit the throttle and instantly you have a  45 degree bow lift and it seems to just jump forward 20 ft and splash on to plane. A bit of trim and only 12 inches of boat is in the water and you have tears draining back into your ears.

Now what could be more fun than that on the water. ;D

I will try and get some "power trim rooster tails photos for you".  Won't my water front neighbors love me more now!

3 bikes in and out now this................

P.S. The sunglasses on my hat in the photo above......gone......sucked right of my face ;D

Sweet Job man!
how about some rooster tails coming off the back of your ski when you cut a big turn! 8)
Or you 3 feet high jumping that things monster wake.

BTW, I think a windshield like this would be pretty sweet on there.
Funny, the car is apparently the land equivalent of your boat!
Vrooooooom!!!!!

Nice car, and paint,  but as for the windshield.....the boat is sooooooooo small that you need a clear access on and off the front. A shield would just get broken ::)

The bow also becomes some where to sit facing the aft when there are 5 people on board.

It's a stainless steel tow bar. That's where the ski rope attaches.

Seaweb,

That truly is an awesome job.

This is my little boat. Its a 25ft Formula with twin mercruiser 170 hp engines.
Last year the gastank started leaking. To get to the 85 gallon tank I had to sawsall the deck out of the cabin and have a new aluminum tank fabricated then replace all the wood. The first time out after replacing tank I hit a floating 4x4 and broke one of the outdrives. I managed to limp back to the dock on one engine. All good fun.

Seaweb,
That looks great!  You did a bang up job!  I have been looking at a Glastron Carlson, and the more I look at your boat and all the fun you and your familly are having on it, the closer I get to taking the plunge and buying it!

Going for MY 1st ski tonight. Convinced the wife to get off early.
It's a #$%* when all your friends work for a living, couldn't find any one to play with yesterday ;D

Started restoring the old trailer today. New wood bunks and supports, along with a new winch and pull strap.
