seat tabs
« on: July 06, 2005, 04:23:26 PM »
i think one of the seat tabs on my frame is bent down but i can find a picture that shows the tabs by them self.
there are two. one near the rear of the bike and one near where the tank meets the seat. the front one is bent down towards the frame. the rear one is pointing up. is this correct?

If I'm right, you're talking about the helmet holder tabs.  The idea is you hook your good-old D-ring chin strap on the hook and then lock the seat preventing anyone from stealing your custom blue-flame metal flake painted open face helmet  ;D

Both 'tabs' should be open enough for this task.  Neither are strucural, and don't really matter.
