New to SOHC site
« on: July 21, 2007, 09:52:40 PM »
I am new to the site, I am an expert Road Racer in Colorado. My Race bike is a GSXR1000 Superbike. I really enjoy working on older bikes because they have much more character then the new ones. I currently have a 1977 Kawi KZ1000 that I am putting 2006 GSXR600 front and rear suspension on to ride as a street fighter. I also am working on a 74 CB750 cafe racer. I am looking foreword to the tech support on the forum.

There's always room for another roadracer type!  Now that you are here you may even find yourself lured to vintage racing if you're not careful.

Welcome.

I live in Rifle, near Grand Junction on the Western Slope. I will try to get some pics up however both my KZ and my CB750 are works in progress, the racebike is the only only one complete. I raced at Miller Motorsports Park last year when there was a Vintage race on the East track, got to meet Gary Nixon, a very cool event. The vintage race bikes are cool and I spent my off track time checking out the AHRMA pits.
Thanks for the welcome.

We like seeing works in progress, if you feel like posting them. It's a way to see how someone is doing something; plus, you get a chance to see things coming together. But mainly, we just like pictures. ;-)
