Mid-Ohio Vintage bike pics
« on: July 29, 2007, 05:17:35 PM »
I just got back from Mid-Ohio. 200 mile round trip on my CB750. There was so much to see. My favorite was a CR750 Hailwood replica.

Here are a bunch of pics from today. Enjoy.

Great Pictures -
Just curious - I don't think I've ever seen a 6 cylinder Honda.  What was that?

Hey, Bill440, Oklahoma is close to Arkansas, and the "best of show" trophy from the Mid-Ohio bike show is in Oklahoma today.  Mike Hall, from OKC also got 1st place for early 70's Japanese bikes.

Where, in Arkansas, are you?

Yes, thanks for the great pictures. I was at mid Ohio four years back for the AMA event but it's time to go vintage!

I've been to Laconia thirty odd years and even when the AMA roadraces were in town, most of the crowd (and there have been huge crowds) never went to the bloody track. It's all about Harleys and hanging out at Weirs Beach.

I hear the swap meet is one of the best but Mid Ohio is about racing, a fine race track, and knowledgable race enthusiasts, my hats off to them.

If you haven't been....do yourself a favour, these pics are enough to lure me back. The roads are great too!

Thanks for posting those great pictures. Mid-Ohio was the most fun Ive had in the mud. It was good seeing old Cb's take names on the track.

So I have already decided that I am not going to miss this event next year.  What do I need to know about the event to make it as enjoyable as possible.  Were are the best places to stay?  Is it better to camp out? How early do you need to get there to get a spot?  Any info would be helpful.

It seems like most people camp out for this event. I've never done it, but the place is huge. After seeing what it was all about, I will definitely camp out next year. Looks like a big party  ;D  Anyways, maybe one of the oldtimers will chime in here with info on where and when to camp.
