RIP Boob Thread
« on: July 31, 2007, 11:04:47 AM »
Please leave your thoughts on this sad day. The iron fist has fallen on the second most widely viewed thread. RIP my lovelies.

Only the #2 most widely viewed thread?  What could be more interesting to this site's readers than lovely ladies?

BobbyR, I've often wondered if you had taken those shots you posted yourself?  The girls you posted always had a nice, non-professional-model, girl/mom-next-door appearance to them.

Good work!

And thanks to all those others who helped brighten up my days with lovely ladies!

Enjoyed it, but glad I don't have the pressure of trying to find more.

Now, back to my other joyful pursuits - like trying to...  oh, wait - this is the shameless thread...

For the record, I thought of posting pic's from the Dragon's Halloween Ball (Halloween - Dallas, TX) and asking for opinions about different costumes...

...but I'm not going to...

...I just want credit for considering it...

...and not doing it...

I can understand mods not wanting to police every post, but there was no warning or anything!  I'm sure the participants would have gladly toned it down if there had been some warning.

It had to go sometime.  Don't beat yourself up about it.  That thread caused enough beating already...

(sorry - had to)

Man, I leave for a week and look what happens!   ;D

I even brought you guys back some pics of some girls at Laguna Seca.... oh well.  ::)

Personally, I think it shouldn't have been deleted.  I noticed the envelope was pushed once again, but I always felt a warning or repremand would come first.  I never expected a total deletion.

If the mods don't want to police every post, I think BobbyR could police the thread himself and keep it in line.

BobbyR, is there any chance Heffy will re-instate the thread if the offending posts are deleted?

I'm only reading about this here, I would like to hear what the mods actually had to say.

heh...Talon heffay himself said any future attempts at a repeat thread would be deleted..i tend to agree with the statement that was made earlier in that thread about an 18+ area being created...or somesort of control placed on threads like that..like say being only able to access with a certian number of posts..

Problem with an adults section is we have no way to actually make sure people are adults. Even if there would be a disclaimer, parents would still cause trouble over it if they found their kids on it. Then we would be stuck trying to create another forum and hope members would find their way there.

Maybe instead of a adult area, maybe a "faq" style link that has URLs to these pics. That way, we are not hosting the sites, just linking and there is nothing wrong with that.
