Putting a lot of work into this bike (350F).  Today, aside from not starting, I noticed my kickstarter went straight to the bottom without cranking the motor.  It seemed to be hit and miss for a while.  The I noticed if you kick it while in gear (with the clutch in) it will push the bike forward.  My electric start works fine but I'm a little concerned by this.

As for not starting, I noticed my plugs were carbon fouled (all of them).  I've been fighting this for a while too.  Finally got my float height all set right and all cylinders (were) firing.  I cleaned up the plugs and it started.  I set the mixture screws way out (2 full turns) and then the bike would stall.  I went back in a half turn and it ran great.

Then, I tried a plug chop by revving it up and shutting it off (got to about 6k).  It refuses to run at full throttle and I noticed black soot on one of my plugs after I pulled the plug.  My question on the plug chop is how long do I need run the bike at said speed to do a chop.  I realize that different throttle positions use different metering circuits.  So, if I wanted to do a plug chop at idle speed to set my air screw right, how long would the bike need to idle before I yank plugs and look for carbon deposits?
