UPDATE: Sorry guys and gals, I used a different compression method and didn't realize pictures were so big, so I compressed them some more, so hopefully this helps.

Well, I'm finally back from my trip to California.  My main purpose for going was the MotoGP race at Laguna Seca, but I also took the oppertunity to see other parts of a wonderful state - Pacific coast, Yosemite, Napa Valley and San Fran.

The first pics are from downtown Monterey Saturday evening.

On race day (Sunday) I was sitting outside of Turn 11 which happened to be along the road the people on bikes had to use, so in between sessions on the track, I simply turned around and watched the endless stream of bikes coming to the event.  It was like my own personal motorcycle parade.

The hot ladies are only included because I took them for the BobbyR thread, but since it's been deleted, I have no where else to post, so I'm posting them here.

It may take me a day or two to post them all.

Enjoy!

More niceties...

This one is out of focus because she threw something at me.  I thought it was a phone number, but it was only a t-shirt.   :'(

I don't know how this one happened.  I had the camera down by my side and it just went off.   REALLY!!!   ;D

great pics... roland sands' bikes are always sweet but, can someone please explain why he always puts the pipes right there?  aren't bikes built to ride?  oh, i guess not his...

and what's up w/ the shorts on bikes things... not only is it retarded but, it makes you look the part too.

Thanks!

While I like his designs, he seems to follow the typical trend these days of building for looks; otherwise, why the genormous rear tire?  Still pretty cool though.  Here's another pic with someone sitting on it... in shorts.   ;D

Regarding the shorts.... beats me. I think it was a balmy 70 degrees too, but maybe people didn't want to take a chance of repeating last year where you were in danger of melting due to the unusual heatwave that hit.

I was surprised by the helmets, leathers, gloves, and then... shorts.  Guess legs aren't important part of the equation.   ::)
