I'm quite happy with our form of government.  It is the best form of government that exists in the world today.

??? If so and now so many years after the remarkable document was forged, why do your countymen  navel gaze endlessly ?  Not a criticism, just an observation. :)

OUr form of government is great but our current administration is the scum from the bottom of a septic tank.

Dan,  by the time the government is bad enough, it will be too late for you to do anything. Think about that one. Being prepared is always the best course of action. You do not have to go on some shooting streak, just be ready if need be. That is what we are saying.

Too many people have neglected their rights and now many other them are actually gone and they do not even know it.

What of the out of control "law enforcement officer" ,what to do about those nuts? USA's founders were"gun nuts"!

Note to self: Call ahead when going visiting in Charlottesville. ;D

"Of course not, I was just... what the hell?  Is that a bazooka?"
"An eye for an eye, I say."
"You're seriously #$%*ed up!"
"Now threatening me with verbal abuse, possibly mental anguish?  Bye, bye."
"Wait, noooooooo"

I've got a friend putting a trip together on Sept. 22nd north of C'ville into WV and back but I'm hoping to get one before then and head south on the parkway.  Not sure of the date yet but I'll definately post it.

And there's nothing wrong with being a HST or TN type.  My fiance's dad gets x-mas cards from Ted and says he's a nice guy once you get past the crazy part  ;D

Oh, and BTW...

BLAMMO!!

You questioned my motive.  That's threatening my right to free speech, thereby threatening all that is me.  You did have it coming... ;D

If you had a septic tank you would know that sludge is on the bottom and scum is on top.

Happy trails.

C-Ville, I'm more of HST type, I just walk out and fire my 44 mag at something or nothing ;D

Now I'm thinking it isn't big enough for just plinking, a 454 Casull seems more appropriate these days ;D ;D

BLAMMO! back at you. ;)

Well of course we're all proud to be called "bike nuts", but sadly there are also "nuts with bikes" out there, who give us such a bad name, and force our governments to control what we ride, how fast we ride, and what we wear when we're riding.

I know that there are lots of "gun nuts" here and that's fine, I like guns too, but disturbingly, some of you guys are displaying the "nuts with guns" mentality, which is what "gun control" laws are all about.

It's not necessarily about controlling responsible gun ownership, but rather, ensuring that irresponsible "nuts" don't have access to them. I can see why you're worried, you're the guys that are in your government's "sights" right now. Fair enough too, anyone who daydreams about blowing someone else away, or signs off with "BLAMMO", doesn't deserve to own a gun of any description.

Speaking of navel gazing, I heard that in 2001, when 3000 folk in America were killed by terrorists, another 300,000 died of obesity related illnesses.

It seems to me that the real "Axis of Evil" might not be Iraq, Iran and North Korea, but rather a little closer to home, at McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Terry didn't read comic books as a kid either,
ok, he did once and was traumatized by the blatant
use of such words as "BLAMMO", "SOCK", "CRUNCH",...etc
Since that day he has worked tirelessly to have those words
banned and those who use them sent off to the nut farm.

Nah mate, I liked comic books when I was a kid, trouble is, I've grown up, but some of you guys obviously haven't, at least, not mentally, and what disturbs me the most is that you apparently can't distinguish the real world from your comic book imagination? And you have guns? Now that's scary!  :P

I don't wanna grow up, I a Toys R Us kid...

Terry, I'm just arguing an extremist point of view to make a point.  I have yet to find it necessary to point a weapon at someone else, even when having one pointed at me threateningly.  I don't relish the idea that one day I may have to.  That doesn't mean I'm not going to be prepared in the case that the situation does come up and by being prepared it's more likely that it doesn't.
There's been humor in almost everything I've written on this post and I'll apologize that it didn't come across that way.  I'll also say....

BLAMMO! ;D

That's all the more reason to stay on your side of the pond,
us gun toting, comic book reading, moonshine drinking, hill billys
are pretty scary.  ;D ;D
And southern miscreants to as someone else once pointed out
and that from a slingshot toting Canadian ;D
