WOW....the whole idea that the thread was started as a bit of fun has turned pretty nasty.i myself love to paruse this site for the informative info.the boob thread was just a fun way to contribute for some of us newbs.oh well back to shameless posting i guess

How bout we just drop the whole idea of it for the time being?  Seems like the easiest thing to do.  There's already been more than enough explanation about the reasons for the deletion.

But seriously, as much as I was getting bored with the boob thread, (sorry Bobby, no offence to you, but I was just marking it as read and moving on) I wonder how non-elected officials (i.e., mods) can just come in and lock a thread with no consultation, not even with the boss? (Glenn)

I'd like to suggest that rather than allow un-elected individuals to push their agenda's here, how about we ask Glenn if we can vote in, and vote out, our mods from now on? Otherwise, we could always just start another site and take our bad manners elsewhere, away from the "Thread Nazi's".

Bad manners perhaps, but most of us are adults, and if we don't wanna look at boobs, then we don't have to. Cheers, Terry.

I like bikes... I like b(.)(.)bies... kinda like putting chocolate and peanut butter together. Whether or not it was appropriate here... I enjoyed the thread.  'Course, if someone were to open a thread for the ladies with "hairy men" then I would use my freedom of choice and personal preference and not read that one... but hey, I'm not the boss and I can live with the decision.

Well I subscribe to other bike sites too, so if this one becomes too regulated I'll just wander off for awhile until common sense prevails, or it collapses from within. That'd be a shame, but it's happened before to good sites, and will happen again.

I'll talk to my son (my technical expert) about creating a site, but I'd really rather go for the democratic option, whereby we get to vote for the mods, not just have them given the power to push their own agenda's. Cheers, Terry.

Actually I am kidding about doing an adult site - there's money there, but then again, there's money a lot of places I am not interested in visiting. 

For the sake of history, if I do find more pictures featuring the SOHC/4 bikes posed with nude models, I will add a separate section of the website.

  I just think it is very interesting that a photo spread appeared with a CB500/4 as the primary prop - I wish I could find out more about the spread and how the photographer came to use a CB500/4.

from sometime in the winter of '74 (?) Nov. (?) or thereabouts, that featured ladies on bikes of the day. One was on a cb 750. I remember it from my highschool days.

It was all fun and funny while it lasted even though I was just a spectator. The naggin back and forth is rather childish. If the mods are truly onesided and not open to discussion as Ive read in some opinions, why havent they started blocking certain members posts or just kicking them off and away for a period of time? I believe thats only a matter of time before this escalates to that point.

Its my fault that Ive flagged threads like these so I will get an email as to new postings on this board, so Ill correct that on my end.

Another thing......... By my own nature, I dont give much of a sh!t about anything. So when I found this site and actually gave a sh!t about what was going on here, topics like this truly bring the whole thing down with the lack of respect for the ones who try to keep the ground level and fair. Just say o well and let it go. Big deal, theres gonna be controversial topics in the future. Get in on one of those if your prides still hurt.

& maybe 1 more...... It took me about a year to stumble across this site, but titties are freakin everywhere. I would rather be involved with making my machine run the best it can than see this site become a bunch of bickering.

I know that voicing my own opinion here in this way might open the door to further badmouthing to myself or others, but I feel better saying it. This is probably the last I will say on this...........

As with the hundreds of other sites out there, a boob thread always seems to pop up---kind of like weeds in the yard.

I found this place to internet meet and greet others that have SOHC interest. To find a conglomeration of SOHC information in one place is not as easy as finding boobies. You could Google "porn" and pop up with 100 pages of porn but try to find hardcore SOHC info and you have a very limited forum base to choose.

I for one vote for hardcore SOHC info and stories.

On another note, there seems to be too many fake boobs floating around the net these days and if you've seen one set of fakes, you've seen them all. I however do find more interest in checking out unique mods done to different SOHC bikes, but if other members want to browse boobs that's their choice. No one forces me to go into the thread and look.

obviously the boob thread had some kind of following.like it or not.check out all the threads since its demise.i have been here for just over a year and have never seen such a controversy over such a minor issue.who has not seen a pair of boobs  (i dont care how old you are)IT WAS ALL IN FUN.lighten up.
