All you need now is a $100 left side cover and maybe some stock bars. Or are you liking what you have?

Thanks guys, the comments are definitely appreciated. A lot of blood, sweat and tears getting it to where it is without a lot of coin.

I didn't want to hijack this thread with my story on how I acquired the bike with some before and during pictures so check out the link below.

P.S. is it true Honda no longer has side covers? I need a sidecover and badge for it. Then of course to match the paint for the mean time.

I know there is an ebay seller who makes the side covers.

I've looked long and hard for '77 SuperSport covers and haven't been able to find them.
When i got her she didn't have side covers so i purchsed ones close and made them work for now while looking for the real ones.

We should get a poll of F owners needing side covers and do a group buy... lets get a break for buying several of these things. It seems as though there are several memebers in need, perhaps we could get a group buy section added to the forum.

I suppose the only problem with that would be the varying years in the bulk buy. It couldn't hurt to ask, though! I mean, if he sold 10 pairs in one sale he might only give a few percent, but it would still be cheaper!

Because of the problem with Honda you mentioned, I had to call them for mine. They were very helpful.

yeah I am pretty sure they have the 75-76 ones which are commonly available, but I am looking for the 78 emblems which are not reproduced (as far as I know). I sent them an e-mail anyway just to make sure.

I'm not sure, but I think I recall that they will make some if you can provide specifics. Like I say, not sure though. If they don't have yours, you might approach them on this.
