I don't need decals, and I don't need 75-76 side cover emblems.

I need the SIDECOVER emblem for a 1978.

thanks though.

I understand that, I was citing as an example the wide variety of products they have. Perhaps they'll have what you want.

I think Geety wants sidecover BADGES. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Woooohoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

They have them. David Silver did not have them. Honda did not have them. All of my local cb750 parts suppliers did not have them. and I have been beat out on ebay for the last 3 emblems I tried to win....

But Repro decals had them!!!!!!!!!!! and cheaper than I have bid for them on ebay in the past. I am so stoked I ordered two sets.

sorry if I was harsh or defeatest to anybody here. I have been looking for them for about a year.

No metal flake, but NO STINKING BADGES!!!
What did you do for your seat release?

Hey Goat, If you need a side cover emblem, I have an extra. Let me know which one you need. I have one f2/f3 and one f1? I also have a set of f1 side covers but the right is the same for all F's.

F2/F3. Surprisingly enough sidecovers I have an over abundance of. I bought a cafe 78F where the owner removed them and didn;t fill the holes before he painted the bike. The paint is new and I would hate to spend the money to repaint the sidecovers when I can just reinstall the emblems. My Stock 78 had both emblems but recently the right one has gone missing. I am such a sticklet for attention to detail that I feel it needs this emblem.

After having a hard time finding them I'll buy your f2/f3 sidecover emblem. pm me with waht you want for it and we'll go from there.

That's some beautiful paint mate, reminds me of the night sky up in the Northern Territory, when I used to lay there looking up at the beautiful stars and occasional comet or shooting star, thinking to myself, "who the fark stole my tent?"  ;D

According to the parts books the CB750F/F1 cover emblems are part number 87127-392-000.
The F2 parts book has 2 partnumbers 87127-392-000 and 87127-410-770.
On the CMS NL website the latter is specified for the US spec F2 but it has the dreaded "not available".
For the UK spec F2 87127-392-000 is specified.
On pictures they both look the same to me.

OK the 77-78 emblems look like the letters are 2 thin lines and the earlier ones are solid letters?

The US version side cover badges differ between the '77F2 and the '78F3. The font on the '77F2 is squarish and blocky. The font on the '78F3 angled and stylish which makes the F3 all the more desirable. ;D

Huh? ???  The rounded, lower case 'f' on the 77F2 is much cleaner and better looking.  The 77F2 is certainly the more desirable of the F's.  (to say nothing of the adjustable jet needles) ::) ::) ::)

Who would be down for a group buy on the 77-78F side covers? I could email David Silver and see how many individual orders at once we would need to lower the price down. Usually it takes 10 to make the price drop down enough. Maybe if we get 10 people perhaps we could go from 30 to 20 lbs a piece. On other forums... 10 people or more would commit to the vendor through purchases and the product would realease at the discounted price.

Side cover group buy
1) Wheelhorse---Set
2) Rhonda750 --- Set
3) Mikedialect--Left side
4) kuyarico--- Set
5) Rushoid-- possibly a set
6) uncrash--left side cover
7) 78 K550--- Set

I missed show & tell! Here's mine:

This was when I first got her, but she doesn't look much different now. Those ugly headers are still on there. All of my time/money has gone into the mechanics/electrical. The cosmetics will have to wait until last. Hopefully this winter I'll be able to get her looking a little better. Until then, I'm having a blast riding!

I might be interested in the group sidecovers purchase too.

Well, my left is broken, but the right is cracked, so possibly a set, depending on price.

That's original Candy Antares Red as far as I know.

by the way I still have a couple sets of stainless steel braided brake lines custom made for the F2-f3's had to have a minimum order of 10 lines so I got a few sets made up. PM me if your interested. They make a HUGE difference on the brake feel! No sponge at all. 30 year old rubber hoses are not safe. Also have a set of origianal side covers in primer for f1, left cover fits all?
