Hey okie, I had forgotten about that one in New Orleans.

Now that I think about it, it seems like I could also pick one up from either Tulsa or Oklahoma City, don't remember which and I also don't remember the call letters either. One time, while I was stationed at Charleston AFB SC, I was out side messing with my car (58' Chevy Impala) at around midnight (couldn't sleep) the local station went off the air. Well, I immediately started looking for another station to listen to and the station I found was talking about the Robinson Auditorium and I thought,
there's one in Little Rock!!!!

Then, I heard the familiar, "KAAY, The Mighty 10.90!!!"

Man, I was in HOG Heaven (Razorback Hog, that is!

) It never happened again, that I know of. Of course I wasn't up that late just messing around like that very often, I had to be up and running in the mornings.

The DJs I remember from KAAY were "Doc Holiday", "Rob Robbins" (his theme song was "Rockin' Robin") and "George J. Jennings"
