saw an auction for a 76 gl1000. not even thinking i put in a bid for $500. ended up winning it. d'oh lol still have plenty of work i need to do on my little 550. here's the descrip.
The bike fell over in my garage and broke the clutch handle just replace clutch cable, fuelpump a little slow, develope a small oil leak from sitting.Tires in good condition the bike runs good has new batery i purchase front fearing with winsheild and radio started to install but never finished. The bike is in primer because i was getting it ready for paint now loss intress i have to many other toys to play with one must go.I got a clear title from the previous onwer i never registered this bike
its really close to my house and "seems" like it doesnt need a whole lot. that could go either way. i'm kinda worried because i didnt see the bike first. found the auction with an hour left and thought "quick put a bid in" without actually using my head reasonably. still not sure why i bid on it. my dad has been wanting a bike. hes the type that will talk about it but is too busy to actually look for one. if he wants it hecan have it. if it doesnt need to much i might keep it. of course i could get it running maybe make a little change on it. Wasnt there a big post on "packrat" syndrome. i migh hace to go re-read that post. just hope i didnt throw $500 away
