My buddy is a police officer in Aurora, Colorado and is a rabid motorcyclist. He rides a VFR and has recently applied in the department to be a motorcycle officer. My buddy is about 6'2" and largely muscle (big as a house). His experiences with the motorcycle training academy are great to listen to. He's got a lot of natural riding talent but even he said the training was absolutely the toughest he's ever encountered, but he said he really enjoyed it, despite the difficulty. They were riding police KZ1000's (think CHiPs television show), which were a handful as compared to his VFR.
