Need inspiration on your resto?

This is what we've been photographing for the last few days...Our friend Jim, from Charleston, WVA decided to RIDE his 67 year old, 1940 Indian 4 up to attend the Concourse at Meadowbrook, over near Detroit.
Several years ago, Jim cracked up his Virago, and while he was recouperating, his wife "LET" him get this project bike which was in boxes, only because she was sure he'd never finish it! He did. It's now a 98 point bike!
Makes me want to get out the Scotchbrites and the elbow grease and get to work!
Oh, they said that there were only a few SOHC4's! Next year?

Chris, did you go the show? I'm looking for photos of the 40 fours that were displayed, but I haven't found any. I was hoping to go, but of course the weather wasn't too good.

That Indian sure is a beaut, and a rider to boot!

No, I didn't go, but a friend did, and he took so many pictures that he hasn't been able to do much with them. I'll post some as soon as they surface.
Here's a detail shot of a really neat car called a Scarab.
