i have a 1975 honda 750 ohc,at least the frame says i have a 1975 but i dont know if the engine matches the frame.when i received it had 1984 papers which were obviously wrong since the frame says 75 and the engine is ohc and has a kicker.it was all seized up but i soaked er with a penatrating oil and gat er unseized now!so i want to rebuild the engine,and i want to get the book to help me but i want to make sure the engine is a 75 just likr the frame so i get the right book....this is stamped int the engine CB 750E-2505854.....does this help?

Yep, it's a '75 engine.

From the main club page you can access the model guide for each SOHC/4 bike which will tell you things like year of manufacture for both frame and engine numbers, as well as varying paint schemes and other changes through the years.

Its a 75 out of an "F" model not a K so it should have 4 into 1 exhoausts rear disc spoked wheels Flake Sunrise Orange or Candy Sapphire Blue tank and seat cowl with black sidepanels
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

Hate to differ with you there, but according to the model guide it's a K engine.  The F engine numbers begin with "750FE", not "750E"
