Hi, just stumbled on this site. Bought new 750F in 1976, still running, few minor problems, about 12K on it. My son took it out a few months ago chasing some of his friends on rice rockets. He said bike did real good till it reached about 130mph then they blew past him. Told him he was crazy doing that on a 31 year old bike, but its nice to know she still has it in her. I've had a few bikes over the years: 68 BSA 441 Victor, 59 BSA 500 Goldstar, 68 Dunstall Norton Commando, 69 Bonneville Triumph, 69 CZ 250, 70 Greeves 380, 72 Dalesman 125, 72 Honda XL 250, 73 Yamaha 650, 76 Honda 750F, then got married & had kids, 91 KTM 250, 04 Yamaha 11 V-Star, 02 Harley Electra Glide. There are probably a couple more I've forgotten. Still have the Honda 750F, KTM & Harley. Oh, just bought a new Polaris 700 Quad. Almost killed myself last weekend trying to keep up with the kids. I should probably stick to 2 wheels. Hope I can add something to your group.
