Needs to be stretched out - looks like it was squashed in a vise.

     Maybe so, but it seems to be an attempt to give the bike a 
VERY OLD  "Vintage" look and, I think they've done a great job myself. 8) I mean, the frame looks like it could have been back in the 30's or so.

Yep - I can see that.  About the only thing left Yamaha on this bike is the engine.  That's some frame/fork.
