open frame with stock airbox?

 This may be stupid, but has anyone used the stock airbox while moving the battery and electrics for the open frame look. The stacks and pods look cool but I dont want to rejet and all that mess.

No reason why it can't be done.

I agree. and you should paint the air box the same color as your tank that may look real nice.

I got home and looked at it and the airbox takes up quite a bit of room. I didnt think it did. Still may pull it apart and see if it looks goofy.

I think it would be foolish to go thru all that effort for the 'open frame" look, then keep that
nasty looking breadbox filter (my opinion).
I def. like this idea better ---->
