New guy from WI.
« on: August 16, 2007, 06:16:36 PM »
Hello everybody.
My name is Scott, I live in Denmark, WI. (near Green Bay) I have a '76 CB550F that has been in my family since new. I came across this site when searching for some info on my dads '70 750K. I can see there is a wealth of knowledge here, and I hope to contribute whatever I can.

Welcome from another Wisconsinite. I live in Menasha (near Appleton). I am currently working on and will soon be riding the 350f in my avatar.

Hey Scott, and welcome from a fellow SVT Focus owner. Mine is a 2002 Sonic Blue which I will probably never get the chance to modify.

But I'm okay with that. It's a fun daily, right?  ;D

Yes, it is a fun daily driver, but very tempermental. Mine is an 03 infra red 5 door. I keep begging my wife to let me trade it in on a Mazdaspeed 3.
Are you on any focus boards? I am on Focaljet and Focusfanatics.

I am a member of Focaljet, though I am very rarely on there.

I haven't lost interest in the car, really, but I have just realized that, as someone who just graduated college and is looking for a job in his field, I am in no position to even think about throwing money at my car. I also want to buy a house soon.

A couple hundred thrown at a bike will go a long way. It might buy an intake for my Focus.  :D
