Hey Bobby!  You OK? Haven't heard from you since May... I hope you are alright.
Anyone heard from Bobby?
I have been wondering for well over a month about him but failed to unearth this thread to see if I could get his attention or response...
I did send him a PM a couple months ago and didn't hear back and dropped ball on it.
Hope you are well Bobby.

David

Where are you Bobby ?

Bobby has passed away, succumbing to cancer.

How about some phone numbers of these girls ?  ;D
Good idea!
Why not a SOHC reunion with those included! Plus a Route 66 ride!
Dreaming......... ;D

It is good that old threads still are alive after the original poster has passed away, but account still active.
The person is then still here.

Betty White was quite a babe.  RIP

My mom went with her girlfriends to a taping of the Golden Girls. She commented that most of of the cast weren't at all friendly, and Bea Arthur was the worst, but Betty was a joy. When the others took a break, she stayed and chatted with the audience, and she seemed to enjoy it as much as they did...

Betty was a professional friend of my Aunt's..both born in 1922.  My aunt passed away in 2014 BTW.
Was looking forward to seeing Betty celebrate her 100th..not only because she seemed to still be pretty lucid..but because she reminded me of my Aunt..that generation of folks/T.V. personalities.  I particularly found Betty's generally positive attitude about life in general to be uplifting..over the past couple of years especially (she could be a little raunchy with her comments though..when younger LOL) .
Anyway..as with all things I feel..'this too passes' (and I'm no spring chicken myself anymore LOL)  Happy New year everyone!

Happy SOHC Holidays!

Same to you, Stev-o.  I wasn't the first to post the photo of Edith way back during the Christmas season, but when that member left the forum, I started to do it.  BobbyR used to gripe about it, but he eventually came around to appreciate her ha ha.

As far as Kirstie Alley goes, besides being a fabulous babe, she was an interesting individual.

Kirstie was on Cheers as well and I guess it shows you the age difference for the generations that know her fir different roles. Once she put on weight she struggled with that and was a spokesperson for Weight Watchers wasn't it?  She led a interesting career arc and life and I think she was an approachable person in real life. Some actors and actresses will not take much time for their fans when in public and some go as far as to use security people to create a corridor for them and live in a bubble.
A remarkable person and good human, Keanu Reeves...tough to fault him for any of how he lives and interacts with others.  His motorcycles are pretty outrageously priced, but they are custom builds in being built to order.

I think building custom bikes(just the bike V-Twins?)for Keanu is a passion of his:possibly more than doing movies.
I remember that KZ1000? he rode in Chain Reaction;I wonder if he ever got into building Japanese bikes ?

Steve O..All..
This came as kind of a surprise to me.  Had been reading fairly recently that Raquel was doing well..looking good for her early 80's.
The brief obit I read just said that she had a brief illness before passing.

Think that many young American lads in the 70's and 80's had pin-up pics of Raquel on their bedroom walls.  My nephews certainly did LOL..

Anyway..yeah..RIP Raquel..
