750F Master Cyclinder Diameter
« on: August 18, 2007, 04:32:08 PM »
I have done a search, but can't seem to find this info.  What is the diameter of the '80 750F master cylinder?  I am converting my 550 to dual disks.  Thanks...

You are not being ignored, if it was a 1976 CB750F I could answer but 1980 goes into the era of the DOHC, and I haven't a clue about them.

Most of the double disc setups of the time used 5/8" (0.625") bore whereas the single cylinder ones (CB750) used 14mm (0.551"). Some of the larger  sized master cylinders had 5/8 stamped underneath the MC.

Thanks for the helpful reply.  I just looked on the bottom of 750 master cylinder and it indicates that the diameter is 14mm.  I never even thought to look there.  Thanks!
