Well, we were supposed to go down to Little Rock Tuesday night, get a motel room and make it to the Lawyer's office Wednesday morning, then the Doctor's visit, then to Denny's for his lunch and back to Greenwood. Before we could go, we needed clearance from the Doctor up here and I had to get a prescription to get the Oxygen equipment. Finally got a release from the Doctor about 1:30pm Tuesday, Got the Prescription about 3:00, went up to get the equipment (after I found the best place to get it from), went over to get my Dad about 6:00 and we lit out for Little Rock. Got down there about 10:30PM, got a room at LaQuinta and I got him settled in for the night. After things settled a bit, I realized in all my haste to get things done, I had not had supper, so at 11:00PM, I went and got me something to eat!

(forgot to mention that it didn't help that the Doctor had been out of his office until about 1:30PM Tuesday and had been out for about 3 or 4 days) Got up this morning and he got dressed ( I had bought him some pants because he'd lost a fair amount of weight and his pant, 38w, were way too big & I had guessed when I bought him some 34w pants and they fit like a glove!

) and looked pretty sharp.

Went to the Lawyer's (had a good meeting with him), went to the Renal Doctor's appointment (Dad's got Kidney Disease, on top of everything else), but not bad enough for Dialysis (just need to kinda keep an eye on things). So, after we finished there, we headed for Denney's, where the waitress (who knows my Dad and knew my Mom, from back in the 60's) works and knows what my Dad's "Usual" is.

I STILL can't get over this. Then, after my Dad finished his "Grand Slam" along with his coffee (that was refilled or topped off continuously) and then, we headed back to Greenwood. Each place we left, seemed to have my Dad feeling somewhat better and, by the time we left Little Rock, he was feeling all right!

He sure ought to sleep well tonight. I started telling him that the "Guardianship Lawsuit" was like the base of a "House of Cards" and when the lawsuit is over, the rest will just collapse!

He seemed to like the way I had put it.
