When it warms up a little we are going to try to plan a trip your way.

There will be about 40 or 50 of us (bobbers, choppers, rockets, baggers, etc) if everything goes right.

Want us to stop by their house for some tea? We can be very persuasive.

lol well I wouldn't want to give the guy a heart attack. But maybe suggest that he give everything back or his house might not make it?

Or better yet... his wife?

lol now I'm getting carried away.  :P

Here's an idea, why don't we do a Brimmer333 on those losers? Sounds to me like they could really use some public humiliation, lolol

But only if Bill and his Dad are kept in the clear, no friendly fire from here, lolol.

haven't commented here yet. A lot of what has gone on sounds familiar(no pun intended). S&S must have read the same book as "Mom's alleged brother". <sigh>

Anyhow, good to see that things are somewhat better.

Here's a neat project that you and Pop can make for Dave on the lathe that he isn't getting.......

Bill, I wonder if you have any old photos of the swords, letters, etc.  Even if not "just" of them, think outside the box.  Did the swords hang on a wall?  Would they be in the background of any "people" pictures?

In the end though, just remember that they only have "stuff".  You have your dad.  Nothing else matters.

But still stick it to 'em as much as you can.    >:(

Clever thinking there firecracker, but the swords were hung on the wall in a narrow hall and I don't know of ANY pictures taken in that area.

You are so right about the fact that I will have my Dad AND, I will also have what David was supposed to have gotten. :P  ;)

Besides, my Dad is doing pretty well now, no thanks to them!
It just grates on his nerves, that they have his things and on mine because they STILL have them. >:(

But, it will work out for the best,  Bill ;)

Sounds good to me, Jeff. They really thought they were going to come out on this, even had David's son Nicky believing it. ::) :P It ain't over yet! ;)

Dad wants to be there when they are evicted, but I hope to keep him clear of there, until it is vacated. :)

Thanks for your input here Mark, too bad about your Mom's so called brother (I've got one of those "So called" brothers myself).

I do hope to get educated on using that lathe too! Sad thing is, there used to be a boring bar and I could have bought it quite awhile back, but didn't have the money. Wasn't long before I was wishing that I had worked out some kind of a deal with my Dad on that. :( There's that "Hindsight and foresight" again. ::)

My Dad has been shown several times how to check his blood sugar and give himself the insulin shot, but he's not getting into it and shows no signs of being interested in doing it himself. Medicare won't pay "Home Healthcare" to do it, if he is to only get insulin once a day and to get in twice a day, will require a change in insulin and the Doctor doesn't want to change anything because my Dad is doing so well. And I don't blame him either. SO, guess who is going to have to start giving my Dad his insulin shots AND checking his blood sugar?  Yep, you guessed it, ME! ::) Oh, I am so looking forward to that. NOT! BUT, somebody's got to do it, SO. I'm elected. ::) ;)

It's all for the best man.

Doing things like this shows your dad that no matter what it is, you are there for him.

My grandfather was an ornery (spell that right?) man until he saw how much I worked at keeping his estate in order. There's a reason for everything bud... Keep at it!!

You need anything let me know.

Yeah, I know that I need to do all I can for him and I also know that nobody else (except my wife) will give me any relief on this. Now, I'm not complaining, it's just that it seems like when I see some relief in sight, there's always some "red tape" that prevents me from getting that relief, you know? I think that he still has it in his head that if he could just get back to hos home, he could just go back to his life and everything would be just fine. :(  However, he HAS been seeming to realize that he needs someone to contact in an emergency. Somehow, I have to work out some tome for me to be able to do whatever, or just to be able back off and not do anything for a bit (just to be able to relax and do nothing for even a short time. My Wife has helped some in all of this, but I don't think she fully realizes how much I need some time of my own. Nearly everyday is full of coming and going and taking care of things. I'll figure out how to do it, it'll just take a bit. My Dad does realize that I have a pretty full schedule every single day and that is why he hesitated to ask for help from me, to get them out of the picture (even thought I told him that he needed to open up to me and let me know all that had been going on). I know that I asked for the situation that I am in right now and I'd do it again, in a heartbeat. You'll have to excuse me, I'm just thinking outloud here.

Thanks for being there,  Bill ;)

Well, I am getting educated on checking blood sugar levels (was already fairly knowledged on THAT part) and giving my Dad his insulin shots. Never HAVE liked needles that much and now I have to give my Dad his insulin shots. He says that he doesn't feel them though. Dad is still doing pretty good and I've managed to get him out off and on. Of course, when I get him out, he wants to know if we are going to Denney's for lunch? ::) :D I swear, he eats an average amount of food for an average meal AND THEN, there's "The Grand Slam" at Denney's! :o TWO plates of food! And he can make that food GONE!

I sure am glad to have the "Guardianship Thing" behind us. Now, when we can get (at least) some of his stuff back (everything that I can give an adequate description of an/or serial numbers of) and then get them out of that house, off of the property and completely out of my Dad's life, we will be on our way to put things completely back on track.

I used to go for the Grand Slams almost every day, then for what ever reason, I developed an allergy to eggwhites, go figure, lolol. But oh man, they were so delicious before that, and filling to boot!

Glad to hear your Dad is doing so well and very happy to see things moving along against the squatters in your Dads house.

Talk to you soon,

Bill,

Haven't checked in for a while. Glad things have smoothed out. That was as hard on you as it was on him.

Please tell you dad hello for me. My dad has been gone 40 years this past Jan 3. Maybe he can adopt me.

Yeah, they can be addictive! :D  Next thing you know, the waitress up here will be as good as the one in Little Rock and all he'll have to do is walk in and have them ask if he wants his usual. ::) Shoot, that's what I get too, except I go for an extra pair of eggs! (2 just aren't enough) :D

You know, not to take anything away from my Dad but, I think it WAS just as hard on me (and, at times even harder, knowing that MY BROTHER and that WIFE of HIS,was the cause of it!) I mean, my Dad was (and still is) at the time in his life that he should be able to kick back and not have worries (like, are they going to succeed in getting me into a Nursing Home and get all of the assets and such). Now, he doesn't have to worry about them controlling his life OR getting his assets AND, he will be able to rest easier knowing that he is being taken care of, to the best of my ability! ;)

Uh,  how about an "Honorary Adoption"? ;)   Sad to hear that your Dad is gone, and had been for so long! :(  I'm sure that he was a fine example of what a Dad should be.

You take care Jerry, Bill ;)

Hey, I've never had a real brother either. Just you guys and my old friends. I could be a good brother. I'm in. Couldn't change my name anyway  ;)
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)
