Wiping my eyes..............

Gee Paul, except for your current circumstances, my sympathies go out to you EXCEPT that I had to deal with THREE sisters and mom. All my old friends except one have all daughters, seriously, AND maybe those are some of the reasons I didn't have a child until I was 46. You guessed it - a WONDERFUL Daughter. I quit at that point. Curses, foiled again. (Snidely Wishlash I believe) Perhaps thats why I seek therapy, er friendship and belonging here.

Well Fuzzy, I am North of I-20 by this much:

(straight from MapQuest and that is One Way)
Estimated Time: 4 hours 34 minutes Estimated Distance: 241.30 miles

Pretty good stroll there Fuzzy, of course it'd be up to you. ;)  I've got ALL of the intentions of making it to the Barber Museum this coming October and hope to have my Dad with me and meet up with whoever can make it. 8)  Seems like there was a pretty good turnout last year and I can hardly wait. ;)

What kind of Preserves are we talking about? You've got me a bit curious. :D

Never tried any of those preserves.

Yeah, I seem to be in training to be a nurse. Bt that, I mean (since medicare won't pay for someone like Home Health, to give a patient insulin shot, if they only get it once a day) I now go in every morning (which I was anyway), check his blood sugar and give him his insulin shot (mind you, I NEVER was too keen about "needles". Gotta tell you though, it does my heart good when I finish up with "Well, that's it!" and he says, "Oh, I was still waiting to you to give it!" 8) I've been doing this for almost 2 weeks now and I'm getting more relaxed about it now. We should be getting ready to go after his stuff soon and then, "The Finale"! The Eviction Notice!

Been getting him out, at least once a week (otherwise, seeing him usually 2 times a day and spending some nice times with him). Got him out to Church last Sunday and to Denney's twice!
Although, I've started to get him to going to Western Sizzlin' some lately and then this Saturday, WE have a Car and Bike show to check out. ;)

                                 Take care fuzzy, Bill ;)

BTW, haven't seen hide nor hair of the S & S Team since Jan 30th, "Hearing Date" :P

i used to be the same way about needles Bill. then i got a job at a surgical center for horses and learned how do find a vein and all that. it was good practice for when my wife had to have daily injections after her cancer surgery. now, nobody had better come near me with a needle, i dont even get my flu shot i'm such a chicken about needles.  ;D

Well, Dad's doing pretty well. Been getting him out some (as I can) and eating at Denney's, Western Sizzlin and the Village Inn. Been getting him back in Church also.

Now, my Wife's a different story. :-\ She's kinda been "up and down" since around Christmas and every time she thinks that it's time to see the Doctor, she gets to feeling pretty good. Now, the past few days, she hasn't felt so good. She's got Asthma and we blamed some of her feelings on that. Finally got her to go to the Doctor and there is some question about her heart beat. SO now, we've got THAT to check out, in addition to everything else. So, I'm asking for your Prayers on her situation as well.

Thanks for the support, we were going to head out for church Sunday (I had called her to say that Dad was going to go with us) and when Dad and I stopped by to pick her up, she liked to never have made it to the van (much less have the energy to get IN the van) and I finally had to tell her that she needed to use "common sense" and stay home. She was really pushing herself to go because she was so excited at the thought of having my Dad there. So she stayed home, with our Daughter helping her and to let me know if there was any problem. Dad and I went to Church, checked in on Brenda afterwards, I took my Dad out to eat (after making sure that Karla, our Daughter, James,Special needs young man that lives with us, and Brenda had their lunch),  took my Dad back to his apartment, called Brenda (while on my way back home) and we agreed that she needed to go to the "walk-in clinic". So, I picked her up and took her in to see the Doctor. Tomorrow, she goes to the hospital to get 2 units of blood and get checked out even more and get an appointment for a Colonoscopy (spelling?) and see how things go from there. Just what we need, something to fill up the "FREE" time we had............ug, wait a minute, just where WAS that FREE time? I don't remember seeing that! ???  Well, we do what we gotta do, right? ;) All in all, I AM grateful because I know that things could be worse! :)

                               Take care folks, Bill ;)

Well, we've been through thick and Very thin for the last 38yrs, can't give up all that now. ;)  Besides, I think it has helped me to be able to better handle the situation with my Dad and the S & S Team. ;D I can't lie, I do occassionally get down a bit (mentally) now and then, but I get back up and go again, can't let THEM get the best of us and I sure can't let my Wife down, after all that she has put up with me. ;)

Ha, Sam, yeah I was a holy terror! ;D Not really, sometimes I wonder if things have gotten confused and I am ending up "Paying for my brother's raising!" ::)  BTW, I've had my Dad out several times now and he's doing pretty good. He even went to Church with us twice now, well, he went with me one of those times.

BTW, took my Wife to the hospital for some "out patient" stuff today. She was given 2 units of blood, checked ever so often and sent home. we've got to get her back up for that "colonoscipy (spelling?) later and also she see's a  blood specialist (forgot what they call them) to see what's going on with her blood. She already has better color (I hadn't realized just how pale she had gotten. She feels better but is still a bit weak. We should be getting some answers before long, on what's going on with her. Spent most of the day, going from one place to another. #1 Took her to the hospital about 8am (stayed there til they got her registered in and in a room), #2 Went to take my Dad's blood sugar, give him his insulin, check to see if he needed any juice mixed up with "thickener", #3 Went back to the hospital to see how my Wife was doing, #4 Went home to check on our Daughter and James (the special needs youngman we work with), #5 Went back to the hospital to, once again, check on my Wife, #6 Went back home to pick up the other young man we work with (when he is delivered by the school bus), #7 He and I went back up to the hospital to see if they were about done so we could bring my Wife home again, #8 We brought her home  #9 I ended up buying supper out and bringing it in, #10 I Am Tired! #11 I AM GOING TO BED SHORTLY ;)
