Very cool Bill....

Hope the wife gets to feeling better.

Yes Tim, VERY cool. 8)  So gratifying! 8)

My wife and I just found out today that she has something called "Khrone's" (I think that was the spelling) disease (has something to do with the digestive system) and something called "IBD" (no clue about that) I just kinda bounce from one to the other. I'm sure we'll get things sorted out, just take time. ;)

Derek, did I actually SAY that, or do I seem to give that impression? ???

Either way, I sure didn't intend to do either one. I just can't get over how they have treated my Dad AND acted so "self righteous" while doing it. Rest assured that I don't go on and on about them, when I'm with my Dad. ;)  On the contrary, I do all I can to give him peace of mind and be able to relax. I KNOW what your intention was when you made that post and I know that you are only trying to be helpful, so with that being said, so you weren't out of line (as far as I am concerned). ;)

BTW, I DO hope your Dad is getting on okay now, after that hospital visit.

yeah, Bill you weren't out of line at all. You just repeated what your Dad said to you. Someone just did some selective quoting. We knew what you meant. Keep on talking. It is YOUR thread afterall and you have the right to get stuff off of your chest. I've been reading this for a while, but not posting much, because I just like to follow along. I'm glad your Dad is doing so well. I'm sorry to hear about your wife but at least now you know what it is and can deal with it head on. As for your bro and his wife... they are a-holes and you have every right to say it. They haven't changed their stripes and are still making it difficult on your whole family. Go ahead and blow off some steam. You've earned it. If others don't like it, they don't have to read it.  :)

Appreciate it guys, I don't want to come off like I'm glorifying myself AND we are STILL having to deal with THEM, to get his things back AND get them off of that property that my Dad has been (and still is) paying for. But know that I don't bring them up to him, unless he initiates that conversation. I just let him know where we stand, at the present. :) BTW, Dad's doing well and we'll be setting up a meeting with John (jtb) before long, to pickup that Jawa 250 engine and we can get to working on building that bike up as close as possible to one that my Dad built back in the early 60's. ;)

Well folks, took my Dad to Little Rock for a check on his kidneys and the Doctor was real pleased with my Dad's overall condition. Went as far as to say that Dad was doing so much better and looking better than when he saw him a year ago. The Doctor's office called us the day before, about the appointment that next day (I had completely forgotten it) and I had to do some hustling to get him down that night, for the appointment the next day. He doesn't have to go back for 6 months. Then we headed for Denney's for lunch, Harbor Freight to browse and headed back that afternoon. He REALLY enjoyed the whole trip too! 8)

Last Saturday, I got a copy, in the mail, of what was sent to the S & S team (regarding returning Dad's things) and they had FIVE working days to respond, or have the Sheriff show up to TAKE those items. Found out today, that they did respond AND the Perry County Clerk put a copy of that in the mail today and I should be getting it soon and should be getting something from our lawyer soon, as to how we will proceed. ::) Seems like this will be never ending! :-X

Of course, the main thing about this whole thing is that my Dad is clear of THEM and he is steadily doing better. His energy level is up somewhat (most of the time) and his memory is doing somewhat better also. He had a place on the side of his face, that we had checked (for cancer) and we have to go back for some further testing, next week. He seems to be adjusting to being up here for a spell too! Sure is good to see him doing so well.  8) ;)

      Man, I'm so MAD, THAT I COULD BITE NAILS INTO!  >:( >:( >:( >:(

I just received copies from the Perry County Clerk, that the S & S Team filed AND they are SO incredibly STUPID! It's obvious that they DON'T have a lawyer at this time. I won't going into details (just yet, anyway) I am just SO BESIDE MYSELF! I sure don't want to tell my Dad about this, at least until I hear from the Lawyer. Suddenly, I just don't see the proper smiley's that come even close to expressing my feelings right now, so I guess I'd better get out of here and settle down. I do hope you all will excuse my ranting, but,
I'm just so put out by this whole thing and to think that this is BLOOD relation that I'm having to deal with! :P

Just keep in mind that the law is on your side.  If they're being that bullheaded (and just plain stupid) it may add some time, but it's just another fight they're going to lose.

Glad you've got a place here to let off steam.  Hope you're feeling better soon.

Yeah, your right about that! It just never ceases to amaze me at just how STUPID, GREEDY, STUBBORN  and just plain IGNORANT they can be. ::) You see, they've retaliated with a list of their own (and to cut things a bit shorter) and the total of the things that David says my Dad owes him, comes to $2815.10. Now, if memory serves me correctly, SHE wrote herself a check for $7,000 and said (in the Court Room AND under Oath) that it was a loan! I think that, with the $2,815.10 subtracted from that $7,000 would leave $4,184.90 still owed to my Dad. :P He's putting a dollar on things that he's supposedly done "To Help Dad Out!"

I've calmed down somewhat now and am trying to be rational about things, even though I just can not believe all the crap that they are trying to pull. Of course I haven't told my Dad about this, until I get a response from the Lawyer. I don't want to stress him out about things, if I can get out of it.

BTW, I found out that at least 4 of the guys that Dad and Granddad used to ride with, are still around and I hope to get him down to the Little Rock area soon, to see them. ;)

Hi Bill, sorry to hear you are still having to deal with these morons !! Mate, if i had to go to court over this again, given now that it is obvious that these idiots are more interested in your Dads money than your dad, i would be chasing a motion or order that would stop these people dragging you into court every time they get another "brainstorm". I really don't think the courts were set up to pander to these type of people....

Thanks Mick, that's exactly what I had in mind for after this is settled. ;)  It may take "something like that" to get them out of our lives forever. :-\  They just don't seem to be getting the message. I mean, everything's covered except for getting my Dad's things back AND getting them out of the house that my Dad's paying for.  ;)
