not at all... i think 3,300 is an exorbitant amount.  yes, it is very minty condition but, it is only an 82... not a 72  ;)

I don't really think that bike's worth more than 1700.  It's nice but there's absolutley no collector status right now.  I like the CB900F alot but it's just not worth anything right now.  The dude does need to lose the leather pouch on front.  That looks retarded on an F model.  Other than that, it does look really nice.

I picked up the silver '81 on Ebay for $1000.00 though the motor has an issue. I'm betting they go up sooner rather than later. I did check NADA but when are they right? A '69 sandcast in "very good" shape for just over 4 grand?! Show me and I'll buy it right now!

Nada is only a guide. Something is only worth, what someone will pay. Remember that.

thought of a different way... "it is worth what some moron wants to shell out"

Kelly blue book is always more and NADA is always less... i try to go w/ an average between the two unless i think they are way off.  in this case... i think NADA is a bit low.

I'd say if you went amd looked at it and it looked in pristine condition, AND you really wanted it, $1500 would be the absolute maximun I would pay for it.

If it has any rust bubbles on the exhaust pipes, and/or smoking, it's worth less than $1,000.

There are still too many really good deals to be had, and the right one will come up.

NADA is based on updated dealer pricing, from what I have have been told.
