Any riders online in the NJ area?

Perhaps as the weather improves and our bikes come out of hibernation...we can do some rides....

lots of nice twisties in the western part of the state.  Even in PA (you know, "where america begins"...;))

Would be willing to coordinate...and have some friends in the northern part (on beemers and the like) that
I'm sure would love to participate in (if we can deal with having inferior bikes in our midst...).

Bryan,
Where are you? I'm in Somerset area and we usually do a couple of vintage rides from a friends' location in Morris county. Those are smoker oriented but anyone is welcome.
I have Yamaha smokers, a Honda smoker and my SOHC4's.
There is one other guy who I ride with in this area, not online with a NICE CB1100F (DOHC) and is currently bringing back an orphaned '76 CB750F.
Don't know any other SOHC's in the area.
So where are you at?

I'm in lawrenceville (just moved down here from north brunswick after living in somerset for years...).

There are the active NJ-Cycles folks who spend most of their time online arguing about
whatever it is they argue about; but, they do the thursday Cruise Night thing in Freehold
once the wx turns more reasonable.

I ride with a couple guys out of warwick nj and northern morris county...beemers, harleys,
the usual suspects.

Got bikes spread around NJ right now after selling the house...:(  One in Cranbury, one in Lawrenceville,
one in Milltown, two at princeton airport, one in pieces in my living room...:)  John's cycle in whitehouse
has some pieces, too...;)

Ready to ride...so, if you don't mind an Olde Phart tagging along...:)

"...so, if you don't mind an Olde Phart tagging along..."

Hmmmmm.........
you must be new here, there are a number of .....ah, ....let's see ........ delicately ....... oh yeah .....
older riders on this board.
As mentioned anyone with an interest in vintage is welcome regardless of what you are riding. I took the " 750 " on a two stroke ride and the only thing that happened was that I was threatened that "you had better bring your RD next ride" which I did!

Not familiar with that "NJ-cycles" group, never went to Freehold
We usually try for Stewarts on Rt 22 Lebanon or Clinton or whatever town that is on Thursdays. Fridays are Somerville Main Street cruise nights.
Email me .. might be easier to chat on the phone.

Well...pushing the half century mark is older than the squids we see tearing down
Rt27 in shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt...:)

I know where the stewarts is...used to work at exxon down the road closer to where 22
joins up with 78.  We used to do out summer friday lunches there...nice ride, and right
across from the HD boutique.

Absolutely let's talk...

We usually start off in Morris county and ride Warren or Hunterdon.
Where are you located Philly? If you are actually in Philly we are quite a bit north of there.
If you are interested email me atDScia@aol.com and we will put you on the email list. My friend has a 2 stroke ride planned for around the end of July I think. Four strokes are welcomed especially  vintage as long as you don't object to the smoke.
I have no idea what I'm doing from one day to the next at this particular time, so I'll decide on attending at the last minute, but I would certainly be inclined to go.
