will regular wrinkle paint work on engine covers

will normal wrinkle paint work on the engine covers or would it be to hot for it.

Yes the engine is too hot for normal paint.

 I have wrinkle black on my valve cover (I ran it for years with wrinkle prior to the last rebuild too). The only thing it doesn't like is S100 cleaner. I bead blasted the cover first and used prep sol on it.
